We are a large family owned McDonald's franchisee looking for a restaurant maintenance technician for equipment repairs and refrigeration for our newly acquired restaurants in Clewiston, Okeechobee and Lake Placid.

You can live in Port St Lucie and travel to Okeechobee and Lake Placid as part of your market. Or, live in Wellington and include Belle Glade and Clewiston in your travel.   Or, live in Clewiston or Okeechobee as your home base!  We offer a generous car allowance, Fuel Card and Oil Changes as part of your package.

This position would include repair of hot and cold restaurant equipment. Hot cooking equipment includes toasters, fryers, grills, exhaust fans, coffee machines, and holding cabinets. The cold side includes shake machines, smoothie machines, fry hoppers, and under counter refrigerators. We are under contract for HVAC, but need someone that can help troubleshoot in an urgent situation and assist in diagnosing Walk-in Coolers, Freezers and rooftop A/C units. This position includes some building maintenance including electrical and plumbing.

We are based in West Palm, but our territory stretches from Boca Raton to Ft Pierce, and now west to Clewiston and Lake Placid.

The ideal candidate would have 3 years appliance repair experience. Restaurant equipment repair experience is a PLUS. We are looking for someone who wants to make a commitment, not just get a job! Pay is based on experience.  We have a great trainer if you have appliance repair experience but have never repaired restaurant equipment.

Must have a valid Drivers License and Car Insurance. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, bend, twist, climb ladders, work with power tools and work in hot and cold conditions. Candidate has the ability to meet company quality, service, cleanliness and safety standards, along with a clean cut personal appearance for our guests. Must be able to communicate with restaurant managers, the maintenance team and supervisors both verbally, through text and Maintenance X. Can diagnose mechanical problems, and determine needed parts and repair. Takes initiative to solve problems for the customers. Is FLEXIBLE and willing to support our restaurant teams and make our guest experience even better!

The work schedule is normally 8-6, but can include evenings on occasion. The team works holidays and weekends but on a rotating schedule.
