Overview
Why We Need Your Talents:
This position is responsible for leading the development, implementation and execution of the Casino marketing plans. The position will also be responsible for execution and performance of the branded marketing programs, communications, public relations, advertising, direct marketing strategy, events, promotions, and player development; ensuring the Casino's continued growth and success as the premier gaming destination. This position will also specialize in creating and implementing an organization's short-term and long-range strategic marketing goals and change management activities.
Responsibilities
Where You'll Make an Impact:
  • Develops and manages the implementation of marketing plans for Live! Casino and Hotel.
  • Leads the progression of marketing plans and adjusts these plans to ensure the successful achievement of the Casinos' goals.
  • Work with senior leadership to develop best in class strategies and processes for the Marketing, Finance and Operations teams, providing open and complete communications with all departments
  • Leads the development and growth of the marketing department team members.
  • Directs the implementation and development of the Casinos' branded marketing programs, player tracking and development programs.
  • Develops and manages the budget for the marketing department.
  • Leads the Casino effort in establishing it as a community leader through effective public relations and communications.
  • Leads the Casino effort in developing cooperative marketing and operational efforts with local partners.
  • Develops and trains staff, interviews for new hires and performs performance evaluations of direct reports and ensures timely, accurate and effective evaluations are completed on all members of the marketing department.
  • Formulate and drive a strategy from identification and analysis of marketing issues. Create perspectives on business changes, and align conclusions with appropriate stakeholders
  • Structure and break down complex problems, develop hypothesis, drive analysis and deliver recommendations.

Qualifications
A Few Must Haves
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license for the position as determined by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency and Alcohol Beverage Control card.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited Institution in a business-related field (i.e. Marketing, Finance, and Business) or equivalent experience required. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in operating Consumer Marketing programs in a high-volume hospitality environment, including conceptualizing, producing and executing these types of programs.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Senior Marketing Executive role serving in a principal (senior most) capacity at a large casino or integrated resort.
