Global Investigations & Asset Protection Inc. is seeking qualified Security Guards to work at food service locations throughout Brooklyn, NY.

This position is ideal for security professionals who are comfortable working in public-facing environments and interacting professionally with school-aged children, individuals experiencing homelessness, customers, employees, and members of the general community.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain a visible and professional security presence at assigned locations.
  • Monitor the premises and help maintain a safe and orderly environment.
  • Interact professionally with customers, employees, children, and members of the community.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas as assigned.
  • Respond appropriately to incidents, disturbances, and safety concerns.
  • Follow all company and site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, site personnel, and emergency services when necessary.
  • Assist in preventing theft, unauthorized access, property damage, and other security concerns.
  • De-escalate situations professionally and request supervisory or emergency assistance when appropriate.


Qualifications

  • Valid New York State Security Guard License required.
  • Previous security experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
