This full-time remote position offers you the opportunity to work from the comfort of your home while providing vital support to patients as they navigate the complex journey of addiction recovery.

About the Organization

At the Inner Strength Holistic Well-Being Clinic, our mission is to provide compassionate, holistic care to those affected by addiction. Our clinic focuses on evidence-based treatment approaches tailored to meet the diverse needs of our patients. We believe in treating the whole person, which includes supporting their emotional, mental, and physical health. By fostering an atmosphere of understanding and respect, we aim to empower individuals and their families in their recovery journeys.

Work Environment

This position is a full-time remote role, allowing you to work within a supportive telehealth framework. Interactions with patients will primarily take place through video conferencing tools and secure online platforms, establishing a flexible work environment that accommodates the needs of both therapists and clients. Within our telehealth facility, you will be part of a collaborative team that includes psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other mental health professionals, all dedicated to providing integrated care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs, challenges, and goals of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
  • Facilitate individual counseling sessions that empower patients to explore their feelings, develop coping strategies, and build resilience in their recovery process.
  • Lead engaging group therapy sessions focused on peer support, skill-building, and relapse prevention strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to synchronize care approaches, ensuring a comprehensive treatment experience for each patient.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention support for patients experiencing acute substance-related emergencies.
  • Educate patients and their families about addiction, recovery processes, and available community resources to enhance their support networks.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to enhance both individual and team competencies.
  • Continuously stay informed on the latest research, treatment advancements, and best practices in the field of substance use disorder treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing substance use disorders, which may include challenges related to alcohol, prescription medication, and illicit drug use. Our patients come from diverse backgrounds, often facing unique barriers to recovery such as co-occurring mental health conditions, socioeconomic challenges, and varying levels of social support. We prioritize a patient-centered approach that respects each individual's journey and fosters hope and healing.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Must possess a current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of substance use disorders and a solid understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy, specifically within the context of addiction treatment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a non-judgmental, compassionate approach to care.
  • A commitment to maintaining professional boundaries, adhering to ethical standards, and protecting patient confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and proficiency in using telehealth platforms.
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in crisis intervention and acute care settings is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of community resources and support networks for individuals in recovery from substance use disorders.
  • Prior experience working in remote telehealth environments is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, reflecting your skills and experience. In addition to a robust salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Healthcare benefits encompassing medical, dental, and vision coverage.
