Compensation: $35/hour
Commitment Level: Full-time, live-out, long-term
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 AM–4:00 PM; Tuesday, Thursday 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
Start Date: September 14

Position Overview
A Melrose family is seeking an experienced, energetic full-time Nanny for their two children, ages 9 months and 4 years. Most of the day is one-on-one with the infant, whose routine centers on feeding roughly every four hours and long nap stretches. The older child attends school in Arlington, and the Nanny handles the 3:00 PM pickup and afternoon care for both children. The family is looking for someone active and hands-on who is comfortable lifting a large infant and can pivot easily on days both children are home.

Benefits
2 weeks paid vacation; 2 sick days; 2 personal days; 10 paid holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Full attentive infant care including feedings, naps, diapering, and developmental play
  • Daily school pickup in Arlington at 3:00 PM
  • Afternoon care and activities for both children
  • Light child-related household tasks: laundry, dishwasher, toy organization

Requirements

  • Prior professional infant and toddler experience
  • Energetic and comfortable lifting a large, active infant
  • Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • COVID-19 and flu vaccination
  • Reliable and flexible
  • Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
  • Legally able to work in the U.S.
