What is a live in relocation nanny?

A live-in relocation nanny is a professional caregiver who moves into a family's home, often in a new city or country, to provide childcare during a family's relocation. They assist children in adjusting to new environments, routines, and schools, while supporting the family through the transition. In addition to typical nanny duties, they may help with unpacking, settling in, and establishing new routines, making the relocation process smoother for everyone involved.

What are some common challenges faced by live in relocation nannies, and how can they prepare for them?

Live-in relocation nannies often face challenges such as adapting to a new household routine, integrating into a different culture or location, and establishing boundaries while living where they work. Building flexibility and resilience, as well as researching the new area in advance, can also ease the transition and help create a positive working and living environment.
