This position will require that you relocate to Ellensburg, WA.

Pay: $500.00 per week

$500 per week Room and free board provided

Schedule
This is a two-caregiver rotation. Each caregiver will typically work approximately 3.5 days per week within a live-in arrangement. During scheduled shifts, the caregiver must remain available in the home for routine assistance and intermittent support as needed.

Job Summary
We are seeking two dependable and compassionate live-in caregivers for an adult male with spinal cord injury and mobility limitations in a private home setting in Ellensburg, Washington. This role is intended for individuals who are comfortable providing hands-on personal care, mobility-related support, assistance with daily routine, and light household support in a respectful one-on-one home environment.

The ideal candidate is mature, reliable, physically capable, and comfortable assisting an adult who remains active in his daily routine but continues to require regular support with personal care, safety, and mobility-related tasks.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist with bathing, showering, grooming, and personal hygiene as needed
  • Assist with dressing, especially morning routine and lower body dressing as needed
  • Assist with bowel and bladder-related care as needed
  • Assist with stretching, range of motion, and home exercise routine
  • Provide mobility support, transfer assistance as needed, and standby support for safety
  • Assist with meal setup and simple daily kitchen support as needed
  • Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and upkeep related to the client’s daily needs
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized home environment
  • Remain present and available during the live-in shift for intermittent care and support needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Home Care Aide, CNA, or similar direct care background preferred
  • Prior experience with spinal cord injury, neurologic impairment, mobility limitations, or transfer support strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in private duty home care or live-in caregiving preferred
  • CPR / First Aid certification preferred
  • Strong reliability, good judgment, and professional communication
  • Physically able to assist with hands-on care and mobility-related tasks
