PT Private Chef Position - Encino, California

Elite Private Chefs is seeking an experienced, personable, and discreet Private Chef to prepare dinner service for an elderly couple in Encino, California. The ideal candidate will create fresh, organic, comfort-driven meals tailored to the principals' tastes and nutritional preferences while providing a warm, engaging, and professional presence in the home. The family is seeking someone who is kind, patient, and genuinely enjoys interacting with others, as the chef will be present during dinner service and should help create a welcoming, comfortable dining experience. A high level of professionalism, adaptability, and respect for privacy is essential.

Location: Encino, California
Schedule: 3-4 days/week. Dinner only, to be served between 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM
Compensation: $400-$500/day
Household:2-4
Start Date: ASAP (Test cook required)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare fresh, organic dinners for the principals 3 to 4 evenings per week
  • Create seasonal menus featuring wholesome comfort food while accommodating dietary preferences and nutritional needs
  • Source high-quality ingredients and manage grocery shopping, pantry inventory, and kitchen essentials
  • Prepare meals in the client's home and provide warm, informal dinner service
  • Foster a kind, courteous, and service-oriented presence, creating a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience for the principals
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen before and after each service
  • Communicate regularly with the family regarding menu planning, scheduling, and evolving preferences
  • Adapt menus and meal preparation based on the number of diners, with occasional meals for up to four guests
  • Uphold the highest standards of discretion, professionalism, and respect for the family's privacy
