About LTC Scripts
LTC Scripts is a rapidly growing long-term care pharmacy serving assisted living, memory care, behavioral health, detox, correctional, and skilled nursing facilities throughout New Jersey. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Delivery Operations Coordinator to manage our pharmacy delivery network and support day-to-day pharmacy operations.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys logistics, problem-solving, route optimization, customer service, and working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Position Summary
The Delivery Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all pharmacy delivery operations, including route planning, driver management, vehicle coordination, facility communications, and resolution of delivery-related issues. This individual will work closely with pharmacists, technicians, drivers, and facility staff to ensure medications are delivered accurately and on time.
When delivery operations are running smoothly, this individual will assist the pharmacy team with packaging, organizing, and preparing medication deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Logistics Management
  • Coordinate and manage twice-daily pharmacy delivery routes
  • Create, optimize, and adjust delivery routes using eCourier, ChatGPT, mapping software, and other available technologies
  • Monitor driver performance and route efficiency
  • Troubleshoot delivery delays, missed deliveries, and emergency requests
  • Dispatch drivers and provide real-time support throughout the day
  • Maintain a network of backup and contract drivers for emergency coverage
  • Manage driver schedules and coverage needs
  • Coordinate special deliveries, STAT deliveries, and after-hours requests
Vehicle Management
  • Schedule and track vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Coordinate inspections, registrations, and insurance requirements
  • Monitor vehicle condition and mileage
  • Arrange rentals or replacement vehicles when necessary
Facility & Customer Communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for delivery-related questions
  • Communicate with facility staff via phone, email, text message, fax, and pharmacy systems
  • Provide delivery updates and resolve concerns professionally and promptly
  • Document delivery issues and resolutions
Pharmacy Support
  • Package medication deliveries accurately and efficiently
  • Organize delivery totes, bins, and manifests
  • Assist with delivery preparation and staging
  • Verify outgoing deliveries for completeness and accuracy
  • Support pharmacy workflow as needed
