Job description

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group (LLUFMG), Department of Pediatrics, in association with SAC Health System, is seeking a BE/BC General Pediatrician for our Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital – Indio Outpatient Pavilion. This beautiful facility contains Loma Linda Pediatric Subspecialists in the same building throughout the month. Behavioral Health and Dental services are also provided on site.

We are looking for clinicians who would ideally live in the Coachella Valley community where the childhood population is over 135,000. Proficiency in Spanish is ideal. We are open to new grads!

In addition to a competitive salary, there will be a paid differential for this position. Clinic hours are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Thursday, and 8 am to 4 pm on Friday. There is 1 day of beeper call per month from 5 pm to 8 am on Mon - Friday or 8am to 8am on a weekend or holiday.

Indio is located 70 miles east of Loma Linda University’s home campus, and has immediate access to hotels and resorts in Palm Springs, just 23 miles west. Known as the Festival City, Indio is one of the fastest growing communities in the Coachella Valley. Indio is also conveniently 30 miles away from the beautiful Joshua Tree National Park.

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $255,000-$305,000.  This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department's compensation plans. More information on compensation is discussed with the departments during the recruitment process.
