Target Hiring Ranges Based on Experience: Park Ranger I: $50,500.00 - $59,989.95 Park Ranger II: $55,000.00 - $66,500.00 Park Ranger, Sr: $62,500 - $77,800.00 PARK RANGER, SENIOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Park Administration, Forestry, Wildlife Management, Environmental Science, Civil War History or a related field and 3-5 years of experience as a Park Ranger with the Newport News Park System, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
