Looking for a schedule that allows you to work full-time while having the stability of one client and one home?
Care At Home is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for our Live-In Caregiver Program. As a Live-In CNA, you will reside in the client's home during your scheduled assignment, providing care, companionship, and support while helping clients remain safe and independent in the comfort of their own homes.
What Does "Live-In" Mean?
Our most common live-in schedule is our 9-Hour Flex Model, where caregivers:

  • Live in the client's home during their scheduled workweek
  • Provide up to 9 hours of care per day
  • Work approximately 63 hours per week
  • Receive up to 4 hours of personal break time each day on cases where clients can be safely left unattended
  • Have private sleeping accommodations provided in the client's home
We also have live-in cases requiring 10, 11, 12, or 13 hours of care per day, depending on client needs.
This position is ideal for caregivers who enjoy building strong relationships with clients and prefer longer, more consistent schedules.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Provide mobility assistance and transfers
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Monitor client condition and report concerns to the care team
  • Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a safe environment
  • Document care provided according to company policies
Requirements
  • Active Rhode Island CNA License
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work a live-in schedule and remain in the client's home during scheduled assignments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
