Job description

Newborn Nanny Needed – Loving, Experienced, and Developmentally Focused


Location: Cincinnati, 45244 zip 

Start Date: Immediate start

Schedule: 3 days a week: 8:30-5pm (ideally Mon, Thurs, Fri)

Children: One newborn

Pets: Two friendly dogs

Rate: $25-$27


Warm and thoughtful parents working from home, are looking for a seasoned and nurturing newborn nanny to join their growing family. They are seeking someone with 5+ years of dedicated infant experience who is confident in their abilities but also open and adaptable to the family's preferences. Grandma cares for the baby two days per week, including every Tuesday, so there is flexibility in the nanny’s weekly schedule.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be:

  • Experienced: At least 5 years of hands-on infant care; knowledgeable in newborn milestones and growth development.
  • Developmentally Focused: Engages in age-appropriate play such as tummy time, music exposure, outdoor sensory play, and walks.
  • Gentle and Respectful: Attuned to baby’s cues and needs, supporting feeding on demand (combo of breastfeeding and bottle feeding based on mom’s work schedule).
  • Excellent Communicator: Keeps open, consistent communication with the parents and respects their parenting approach.
  • Mature and Responsible: Comfortable working in a home with two WFH parents and navigating shared spaces respectfully.
