Position Summary/Job Duties:
We have 3 children, a 10 year old boy, a 8 year old boy, and a 5 year old daughter. We are looking for a college student to watch all three between the hours of 3p-5:30p from Tuesday through Thursday (Additional babysitting or night time hours if desired). They are all well behaved. The two elementary students get off the bus between 3-3:10 while the intermediate schooler gets off the bus at 4:30p. They may need transport to practice so a safe car and good driving record is required. Responsibilities would include making sure they unpack their bags, do an after school worksheet, and get an after school snack. Then it is supervising play, help driving to practices, and potentially helping start dinner prep if time is available. Past babysitting or childcare skills preferred to help mitigate sibling conflict and enforce screen time rules. The ideal person would enjoy being outdoors, maybe play some sports or be active, and is responsible but fun. A student completing Freshman or Sophomore year would be ideal so that we could have continuity for a year or two! Also must be ok with dogs, we have a 3 year old golden doodle :) We are located about 20-25 min from campus on the north side of Lake Mendota.
