Having a live-in nanny offers families greater flexibility, as the nanny is typically available for longer or irregular hours. In return, live-in nannies usually receive room and board as part of their compensation. They play a vital role in supporting busy households and ensuring consistent, personalized care for children.

Job description

Lovely family looking for a Persian, Iranian, or Farsi-speaking Nanny/Housekeeper candidate!
Single dad based in South Beach, Miami, and spending summers in New York (either New York City or the Hamptons) is seeking a full-time, live-in Nanny/Housekeeper/Family Assistant, Weekdays and Weekends, with 2 consecutive days off weekly but must be ok with weekends, 8am-6pm/7am-5pm, for a very active 7-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter.
Candidate must have experience with toddlers and multiple children, work well with others, and most importantly, be a loving, warm presence in the home. The family also employs a full-time nanny, so this person should be comfortable working as part of a team.
The children attend school from 9am-3pm in the fall and are very active and eager to learn. They love scooting, going to the park, reading, swimming, and activities, so the ideal candidate will be creative, energetic, engaged, and genuinely enjoy helping children learn and reach new milestones.
Duties include housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, keeping household supplies stocked, general household organization and duties, and helping keep the children’s areas tidy. The nanny will also be your right hand in completing the daily work and caring for the household.
Candidate must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and be comfortable confidently driving the children to and from school, activities, appointments, playdates, and other outings as needed.
Ideally, you would enjoy living between Miami and New York during the summer months (June, July & August) and be resourceful, mindful, adaptable, experienced, warm, happy, and energetic. Must enjoy traveling with the family when the opportunity arises.
Salary: $35-$40/hour with benefits, depending on experience.
