Role Overview

VersAbility Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support operations within the MSC Government Contracts division in Fort Eustis Virginia. This role provides essential administrative and clerical support, including managing records, coordinating schedules, supporting payroll processes, and assisting leadership with daily operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Pay rate includes a $4.93 health and welfare benefit!

What You’ll Do
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties including filing, scheduling, and managing correspondence
  • Answer and direct phone calls while providing excellent customer service
  • Maintain records, files, and organizational data with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Develop and generate routine reports and assist with data tracking
  • Coordinate meetings, presentations, and internal communications
  • Support payroll administration and personnel record management
  • Assist with research projects, presentations, charts, and other materials as needed
  • Implement and maintain organized records management processes and procedures
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies within budget and coordinate special orders
  • Support crossfunctional administrative needs and collaborate with internal teams
  • Assist in developing and maintaining efficient administrative processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or office setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
  • Familiarity with disability services (preferred)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret Security clearance
  • Valid Driver's License is required for specific locations.
  • Self transportation is required for Point Loma locations only.

    Work Environment & Physical Requirements

    This position operates in a professional office environment supporting a government contract. The role requires frequent interaction with staff, leadership, and external stakeholders.

    Work is primarily sedentary, with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. Occasional standing, walking, and lifting (up to 10–20 lbs.) may be required.

    Schedule

    This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM (40 hours per week), offering a consistent daytime schedule. (40 hours per week). Occasional flexibility may be required based on operational needs.
