Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver structured mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), designed to help clients reduce stress and improve their quality of life.
  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify individual clientsโ€™ unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, tailoring your approach to fit their needs.
  • Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques that promote self-awareness and emotional equilibrium.
  • Facilitate engaging group workshops and sessions focused on mindfulness practices, resilience-building strategies, and effective stress management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a broad spectrum of clients, ranging from those experiencing high levels of stress and anxiety to individuals looking to enhance their overall mental wellness. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California is mandatory.
