Job Overview
As a Massage Therapist at FitZone*, you will play a vital role in our clients' overall wellness journey by providing therapeutic massage services aimed at reducing stress, relieving muscle tension, and supporting rehabilitation and injury prevention. You will work collaboratively with our fitness trainers and health professionals to support clients' physical and mental health.
*FitZone is a subsidiary of LLA Therapy, LLC.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide various massage therapy techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and other therapeutic massage modalities tailored to client needs.
  • Consult with clients to understand their goals, health concerns, and areas of tension or pain to create individualized massage plans.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records to document treatments and progress.
  • Offer guidance and advice on stretching, strengthening, and relaxation techniques to support fitness and recovery goals.
  • Work with fitness center staff to promote massage therapy services and actively engage with clients about the benefits of massage in achieving wellness goals.
  • Adhere to high standards of cleanliness and sanitization to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques through professional development.

Requirements
  • Valid Massage Therapy License in Ohio
  • Certification in various massage techniques (Swedish, deep tissue, sports, etc.) preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in massage therapy, ideally within a fitness or wellness setting.
