This arrangement allows for more convenient and personalized care, often catering to individuals with specific therapeutic needs, such as athletes, elderly clients, or those recovering from injuries. In addition to massage treatments, the therapist may also support wellness routines, stretching exercises, or relaxation techniques. The role typically involves a structured schedule, privacy agreements, and potential flexibility in duties based on the client's lifestyle and health requirements.

What does a typical workday look like for a live in massage therapist?

A typical day for a Live In Massage Therapist involves preparing treatment spaces, providing scheduled massage sessions tailored to clients’ needs, and performing light administrative or wellness duties as arranged with the household. You may also be responsible for creating personalized wellness plans, maintaining inventory of massage supplies, and adhering to a flexible schedule based on the client's preferences. While your primary focus is massage therapy, you’ll often collaborate with other household staff or family members to coordinate wellness routines. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop close working relationships with clients, and successfully managing boundaries and expectations is key to long-term success.
