Position Summary

The Massage Therapist provides professional, therapeutic massage services to clients in their homes or designated locations. Services are delivered in a safe, ethical, and client-centered manner to promote relaxation, comfort, and overall well-being, while adhering to state licensure requirements and agency policies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform professional massage therapy services based on client needs and preferences
  • Utilize various massage techniques (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, relaxation, therapeutic massage) within scope of practice
  • Maintain client comfort, privacy, and dignity at all times
  • Review client health history and identify contraindications prior to each session
  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding treatment goals and expectations
  • Accurately document services provided according to agency policy
  • Follow all infection control, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards
