Job description

A kind and busy family of six in Palo Alto, CA is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented housekeeper to start in August. The schedule will be Monday through Friday 9am-5pm. No childcare will be required.


  • Daily and deep cleaning of a 2,500 sq ft home including outdoor patio areas
  • Laundry and ironing including linens
  • Receiving groceries and deliveries
  • Maintain inventory of household supplies
  • Observe and report maintenance issues
  • Assistance with meal prep and simple cooking as needed
  • Organizing cabinets, closets, and storage areas as needed
  • Willingness to work 1-3 weekend days per year, with notice

  • Strong work ethic and professional demeanor
  • A calm, positive, pitch-in attitude for an active household
  •  An eye for detail and mindful of the family's schedules and routines

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • An excellent understanding of the English language both verbal and written
  • Up to date on Flu, Tdap, MMR, and Covid vaccinations and willing to get annual Flu and Covid vaccines
  • US passport, Green Card, or EAC
