AllTek is partnering with a local client to find an exceptional Interior Designer.

Overview:
Join a dynamic team that transforms commercial retail, office, restaurant, hospitality, and mixed-use spaces into inspiring environments. As an Interior Designer, you will lead the creative and operational aspects of interior spaces, collaborating closely with tenants, architects, and vendors to deliver high-quality results. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape vibrant interiors aligned with client branding and operational needs, supporting projects from concept through construction completion.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of commercial interior design principles and space planning.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation.
  • Experience developing design concepts, space plans, and finish selections.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with building codes, accessibility, and safety standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or interior architecture.
  • 3–5 years of relevant commercial interior design experience.
  • NCIDQ certification or in progress.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with tenant improvement projects.
  • Knowledge of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) planning.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience preparing detailed construction documents for commercial spaces.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or interior architecture.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in commercial settings, especially tenant improvements.
  • NCIDQ certification or working toward certification.

Other Requirements:

  • In-office only position.
  • Willingness to travel locally to project sites as needed.
