Their role is crucial in ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. They often work flexible hours to accommodate the needs of the home and may also assist with minor tasks related to resident care, though their primary focus is on housekeeping duties. Job description

A wonderful returning BAHS client is seeking a full-time Live-In Housekeeper to support the daily operations of their home and become a long-term member of their household team.

This is a housekeeping-forward role with occasional childcare support. The family employs a full-time nanny who has primary responsibility for the children. The Housekeeper will primarily focus on maintaining the home, meal preparation, organization, and household support while remaining available to step in with the children during busy morning routines, dinner hours, or whenever an extra set of hands is needed.

The ideal candidate takes genuine pride in caring for a home, notices what needs to be done without being asked, and naturally goes above and beyond. They are equally comfortable preparing vegetables for dinner, receiving deliveries, helping maintain household organization, or engaging with a young child while the nanny or parents attend to other priorities.

The typical schedule will be approximately 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with flexibility based on the family's needs. This is a live-in position with a private bedroom and bathroom located on a separate floor of the home.

The family is focused on finding a long-term fit and plans to begin with a one-week paid trial, with the possibility of a temporary-to-permanent transition to ensure an excellent mutual long-term fit.

  • Perform daily housekeeping to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming home.
  • Manage laundry, linens, ironing, and household organization.
  • Prepare vegetables, meal components, and assist with kitchen preparation throughout the day.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and complete daily household resets.
  • Receive deliveries and assist with general household logistics.
  • Monitor household inventory and help keep the home well stocked and organized.
  • Provide occasional childcare support during busy morning and evening routines while collaborating with the family's full-time nanny.
  • Engage warmly with the family's young children when additional supervision or support is needed.
  • Assist with light errands and other household tasks as requested.
  • Take initiative and contribute wherever needed with a "no task too big or too small" mindset.

  • Professional housekeeping experience in a private home.
  • Prior experience working in homes with young children.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Comfortable balancing housekeeping responsibilities with occasional childcare support.
  • Proactive, hardworking, and naturally service-oriented.
  • Warm, engaging, and comfortable interacting with young children.
  • Long-term mindset with a desire to grow alongside one family.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Comfortable living in the provided private accommodations.
  • Willing to complete a one-week paid trial.
  • Reliable, flexible, and highly professional.
  • Able to provide outstanding professional references.
  • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.

  • $80,000–$90,000+ annually, depending on experience.
  • Private live-in accommodations with a separate bedroom and bathroom.
  • Health care stipend.
  • One month of paid time off annually.
  • Long-term opportunity with a wonderful returning BAHS client.
