About Our Family
Our home is a lively, warm household of five, including three young children with distinct personalities, along with five cats. We are navigating the wonderful energy and rhythms of elementary and preschool years while enjoying the home we recently renovated. Weekdays are centered around school routines, afternoon activities, and shared family meals, creating a foundation for both structure and connection.
One parent works full-time outside the home, while the other has been focused on managing the household and kids but will be traveling more frequently to support family out of state. We are seeking a true partner to help manage the day-to-day load alongside us.
Our goal is to spend more quality time together without feeling weighed down by the to-do list. We hope to find someone who can manage the behind-the-scenes work, maintain order and routine, and even assist with an upcoming renovation project. This role is about keeping our household organized and calm so we can focus on what matters most-being present with our children.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented-someone who naturally takes ownership of the home. You notice what needs attention and act without being asked, whether it's restocking the grocery list, organizing a cubby, folding towels left around the house, or handling household details before they become a problem. You thrive on creating and maintaining systems that make daily life smoother and more predictable. You communicate clearly, exercise good judgment, and work independently without constant direction. You're comfortable managing household tasks and stepping in for occasional childcare support, and you genuinely enjoy the satisfaction of a well-run, organized home. Most importantly, you don't just check items off a task list-you look around, anticipate needs, and take initiative to keep everything running seamlessly.
Ideal Candidate Characteristics:
  • Proactive and detail-oriented - anticipates household needs and takes initiative
