Position: Live-In Caregiver
Employment Type: Full-Time, Live-In
Location: Pennsylvania (Client Home)
Job Summary:
EmmUcare Home Health is seeking compassionate and dependable Live-In Caregivers to provide around-the-clock support for clients who wish to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes. This position requires living in the client's home during scheduled assignments and being available to assist with the client's daily needs while receiving designated meal and sleep breaks in accordance with applicable labor laws and company policies.
Our Live-In Caregivers play an essential role in promoting client independence, dignity, safety, and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
  •  Provide 24/7 supervision and companionship during scheduled live-in assignments. 
  •  Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: 
    •  Bathing and personal hygiene 
    •  Dressing and grooming 
    •  Toileting and incontinence care 
    •  Mobility and transfers 
  •  Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed. 
  •  Perform light housekeeping, including: 
    •  Laundry 
    •  Dishwashing 
    •  Vacuuming and sweeping 
    •  Changing bed linens 
    •  Maintaining a clean and safe living environment 
  •  Provide medication reminders (no medication administration). 
  •  Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or community outings when applicable. 
  •  Monitor changes in the client's condition and promptly report concerns to the office. 
  •  Accurately document care provided according to company policy. 
  •  Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and respect for each client's home. 
Qualifications:
  •  High school diploma or GED preferred. 
  •  Caregiving experience preferred but not required—we provide training.  
  •  Current TB testing (or willingness to obtain one during onboarding). 
  •  Reliable transportation is required.
  •  Compassionate, dependable, patient, and able to work independently. 
Pay & Benefits
  • Base Pay: $10.00 per hour
  • Overtime Pay: $15.00 per hour (for all approved overtime hours worked in accordance with federal and state wage laws) 
  •  Flexible scheduling opportunities following live-in assignments.

Schedule
  • Live-In (24/7) Assignments
  •  Caregivers reside in the client's home for the duration of their scheduled assignment. 
  •  Scheduled meal and sleeping periods are provided in accordance with company policy and applicable labor laws. 
  •  Weekend and holiday availability may be required depending on client needs.
