Job description

We are seeking an INTERNAL Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant that will work collaboratively with the APP Clinical Manager as Academic GI Team Lead.

   
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Clinical Practice - Performs complete diagnostic evaluation of patients by administering the appropriate tests and measurements. Modifies treatment programs at regular intervals while also documenting patient progress and response to treatment. Provides education, training, and support to patient/family to assist with treatment requirements, discharge planning and home programming. Strives to meet and exceed individual/patient/ family and other customer expectations.
 
Communication - Shares thoughts and information in a clear, concise, and professional manner, in both oral and written communication formats. Demonstrates active listening and seeks further information to ensure clarity and understanding. Promptly responds to requests for information and works to proactively think through next steps and anticipate potential issues, requests, or business needs. Openly shares knowledge and expertise. 

Collaboration - Coordinates job activities with team members and leaders as required. Finds workable solutions that can be leveraged by other team members. Seeks out and shares best practices for performing job duties.

  •     Providing input for annual IP DaLD APP Performance Development Conversations
  •     Identifying didactic learning opportunities to foster subspecialty professional knowledge and growth
  •     Assisting in creation of IP DaLD APP orientation plans & schedules
