Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week), Hourly, Non-Exempt

INTRODUCTION:
Seeking a Landscaper / Groundskeeper / Handyman with expertise in high-end property care, maintenance, landscaping, and grounds management. Ideal for detail-oriented individuals with a strong service mindset and dedication, who can always put the principals/clients first.
DUTIES:
• Proactively plan and schedule work duties independently or in collaboration with your team and management.
• Utilize a to-do list and follow procedures, while also taking the initiative to create lists for property care and enhancement.
• Maintain landscaping and garden areas through planting, trimming, fertilizing, mowing, and other necessary activities.
• Have the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues with pipes and potential irrigation problems.
• Ensure outdoor living spaces, furniture, light fixtures, and equipment are kept clean.
• Perform power washing of sidewalks, gutters, walls, patios, decks, and more.
• Help with inventory management, and organizing tools in sheds and garages.
• Assist the Property Manager by overseeing the work of external contractors and vendors.
• Conduct minor repairs and maintenance in areas such as plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and painting (if qualified).
• Acquire supplies or materials from local hardware or landscaping stores as needed.
• Handle the collection and unfolding of packages and package cartons.
• Undertake sanitation duties, including sorting trash, removing it, shredding, and cleaning trash bins.
• Manage pest control efforts, including setting up bait stations for rodents like rats, moles, and voles.
• Communicate effectively with the Property Manager and maintenance staff, providing clear plans and solutions to any issues promptly and professionally.
• Offer clients support and guidance on maintaining their equipment and keeping records.
• Be prepared to assist with diverse tasks as requested by the Principals or the manager, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Previous experience in high-end private home care, maintenance, landscaping, and grounds management, or a similar role.
• Knowledgeable in landscaping, gardening, and safe chemical use.
• Familiar with safety protocols and proficient in using power tools and landscaping equipment.
• Trade skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or similar are a plus.
• Physical stamina and mobility. Able to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule; can work overtime, weekends, holidays, and morning/evening shifts as needed.
• Background checks and legal work status in the US are required.
• Ready for pre-employment health screenings, including physical, psychological exams, and drug tests; annual flu vaccination required.
• Annual flu shot required.
• Must have a valid Driver's License. Reliable transportation is required for daily commute to Atherton, CA.
