Looking for a hands-on role where your attention to detail and craftsmanship make a direct impact? At John Zink in Tulsa, Oklahoma, you'll join a world-class manufacturing team as a Crater, where you'll construct custom crates that ensure our innovative combustion solutions reach customers safely around the globe. In this fast-paced and safety-driven environment, you'll collaborate with skilled professionals, tackle new challenges, and play a pivotal role in delivering excellence. This role is for first shift, Monday - Friday from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

John Zink continues to grow their Tulsa Manufacturing Facility into a world class operation. We are recognized for safety, environmental excellence, innovation, and customer service. This is a great opportunity for an individual to be part of an operative team and gain experience with a well-established and growing manufacturing and test facility.
What You Will Do
  • Actively participate in the safety programs
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment to move materials and finished crates.
  • Track and record materials used, ensuring proper inventory control.
  • Keep work area and plant clean / clutter free
  • All tile crates will be fabricated with vents properly installed
  • Load trucks and account for all parts loaded and take pictures after loading
  • Insure on time delivery of shipments by communicating with shop personnel
  • May be assigned to other areas, projects, duties as required by business needs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or customer specifications to ensure proper crate dimensions and design.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Hands-on experience in carpentry, framing, or related fields
  • Experience using tools like nail guns, staplers, and chop saws
  • Experience reading tape measures
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience with blocking, bracing, saddling crates, and installing vents
  • Familiarity with forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment, and inventory tracking
