ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director with a strong background in the fintech industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and a deep understanding of cloud-based solutions, implementation models, and the end-to-end consultative sales lifecycle. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and driving revenue growth through the promotion and sales of our innovative cloud-based products and services globally to technology companies, financial institutions, and strategic partners.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Apex Fintech Solutions products and capabilities.

  • Understand various market types, personas, and buyers needs

  • Position the company's products and services uniquely to various buyers to maximize Apex's value-add to different types of organizations.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand the company's cloud solutions' market share.

  • Identify key market segments and potential customers to prioritize sales efforts effectively.

  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities and areas for differentiation.

  • Proactively prospect and generate leads through various channels, including networking events, industry conferences, referrals, and cold outreach.

  • Position our cloud-based offerings as solutions that address specific pain points and challenges faced by all types of buyers.

  • Collaborate with technical and product teams to tailor solutions to meet the unique needs of potential clients.

  • Partner with sales engineering and implementation teams to make sure clients and prospects have a positive experience from inception all the way through to going live.

  • Lead meetings with decision makers while understanding their strategy and educating buyers how Apex can help them differentiate their business.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

  • 8+ years transferable work experience, preferably in cloud sales, financial technologies, or custody and clearing.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, SaaS models, and cloud-based infrastructure specific to the securities industry

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Strategic thinker with a solution-oriented mindset.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.

Work Environment

  • This job operates in a hybrid, office environment.

  • Position requires 50%+ time for travel.

Salary Range

$154,880-$193,600

The annual base salary range for this position is noted above. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location.
