Description
Comply with the Department of Transportation (DOT) safety rules and regulations, Company policies and local, state and federal policies, laws and procedures. Transport live birds from the farm to the plant. Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure load is secured properly. Complete required documentation. Maintain truck cleanliness. Any other relevant duties to the job.
Requirements
Class A Commercial Driver's License required. 1+ year(s) of verifiable commercial driving experience required. Clean motor vehicle driving record required.
Physical Requirements
  • Sit and drive for up to 10 hours.
  • Regularly climb in and out of truck cab throughout shift.
  • Work in outside environment (including inclement weather) on a daily basis.
  • Occasionally lift 50+ lbs.
  • Work around raw, live animal odors.
