Job description

Job Title: Delivery Driver
Pay: Driver Apprentice starts at $19.00/Driver starts at $20.00+/hr
PAID WEEKLY!
Hours: 1st Shift Monday-Friday + OVERTIME!!

Sims-Lohman, a distributor of cabinetry and countertops is seeking a Box Truck Driver at our distribution center located in Irondale, AL.

Responsibilities:

  • You would transport, load and unload cabinets and other materials in a 26’ box truck to our valued production and custom home builder’s project sites, which include both residential, multi-family, and commercial properties.
  • All team members are required to train and rotate to work in our warehouse on loading and unloading.

Our Drivers work:

  • Full-time: Scheduled Monday through Friday; Day shift with no overnights

Requirements:

  • Ability to drive manual/clutch and/or automatic transmission
  • Ability to lift heavy weight materials repeatedly
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen/physical and background check.
  • A valid driver’s license, with a clean record and the ability to obtain a Medical DOT card needed.
