Job description
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OVERTIME
Sims-Lohman is among the largest granite fabricators and installers in the mid-west. We are headquartered in Cincinnati, with over 500 team members. Throughout the mid-west and south, we have cabinet design showrooms and granite countertop fabrication shops with state-of-the-art fabricating and install equipment. Sims-Lohman is hiring granite fabricators, or general laborers with a willingness to learn a new trade to work on 2nd shift!
*This position is 2nd Shift 2:30pm - 11:00pm - Monday-Friday*

What would a Granite Fabricator do?
- Trim, scrape or polish countertops or parts, using hand grinders and other manufacturing equipment
- Verify quality of finished countertops by inspecting them, comparing them to templates or measuring their dimension
- Run equipment
- Learn other jobs in the shop
What I experience or skills do I need?
- Must have a demonstrated GOOD Attendance record
- 2+ years’ experience polishing countertops
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools including grinders
- Ability to read shop drawings and use a tape measure
- Ability to work with heavy weight materials
- Ability to operate machinery is a plus, but not required
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
Do you have at least one year of experience in Construction, working with Hand Tools, working in Manufacturing, Working in Granite, or as a Machine Operator?
