Job description

Purpose:

The Coordinator- Programing & Licensing is multifunctional. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Programming, Contract Management, Calendar Management and maintaining clear, direct communication with all Licensees. A successful candidate will have collaboration skills and is flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in an ever-changing environment. He/she must be able to motivate staff to produce quality work within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.

Essential Functions:

  •  Acts as a secondary point of contact for licensee events.
  • Manage the master calendar for the organization and is responsible for ensuring the calendar is up to date at all times.
  •  Must be detail oriented and able to manage multiple incoming tasks from multiple sources and formats.
  • Assist in writing or reviewing all estimates and/or deal memos for all Dayton Live events.
  •  Responsible for coordinating all payments to shows.
  •  Responsible for reporting licensee show expenses, and budgeting.
  •  Proactively coordinate the licensing process, which includes issuing all license agreements and ensuring full compliance with license agreements and other requirements.
  •  Act as a key liaison with Dayton Live departments and licensees to coordinate programsand production meetings
  • Invoice and collect all fees resulting from licensee performances in collaboration with theManager - Programming & Licensing

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree-preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience of licensing within an entertainment environment a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with Licensees, peers, leads, management, and general public.
  • Must conduct duties in a positive, professional manner and maintain customer service initiatives.
  • Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personalities and successfully work with all levels of the organization.
