Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Location: Portland, OR
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $21.50-$22.50/hour (based on experience)
Community Access Services is currently seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Portland, OR to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a community based setting. No experience required - paid training provided!
What You'll Do as a Direct Support Professional:
  • Develop meaningful, person-centered relationships that support independence, dignity, and personal choice.
  • Assist with daily living activities such as meal prep, personal care, and household routines.
  • Support individuals in community participation, recreation, appointments, and working toward personal goals.
  • Encourage skill development, confidence, and social connections.
  • Follow individualized support plans (full training provided).
  • Administer medications safely and keep accurate records.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
  • Serve as a positive role model and advocate for the needs and preferences of those you support.
What We're Looking for in a Direct Support Professional:
  • Experience as a DSP, caregiver, or human services professional is a plus, but not required - training is provided
