Job description

Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Location: Beavercreek, OR
Employment Type: Part-Time; Friday/Monday 2p-10p
Pay Rate: $21.50–$22.50/hour (based on experience) 
Community Access Services is currently hiring a Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Beavercreek, OR to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. No experience required — paid training provided.
What You’ll Do as a Direct Support Professional
  • Build meaningful, person-centered relationships that support independence, dignity, and personal choice
  • Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal care, and household routines
  • Support individuals with community participation, recreation, appointments, and personal goals
  • Encourage skill development, confidence, and social connections
  • Follow individualized support plans (training provided)
  • Administer medications safely and maintain accurate documentation
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
  • Advocate for the needs and preferences of the individuals you support
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience as a DSP, caregiver, or in human services is helpful but not required
  • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to become an approved company driver
  • Ability to pass a national background check
  • Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility support
