What You'll Do:
  • Work directly with vulnerable adults living with mental illnesses
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the persons served at all times
  • Reflect the values of respect for others, honesty, patience, and compassion through your communication and professional relationships
  • Assist the persons served with active treatment services, daily living skills, administering medications, and continued development
  • Assist with transportation, documentation of services, implementing and following care plans, and interaction with stakeholders
  • Support the Designated Coordinator with tasks such as scheduling, payroll, reviewing documentation, and delegating tasks to other team members as needed

What You'll Need:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a DHS background and Motor Vehicle Records check
  • 1+ years of experience in a group home, DSP, or client care role, preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in de-escalation/redirection skills, preferred
  • Must be physically able to perform all job duties, including lifting, transfers, and emergency interventions
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
