With branches across the West, they specialize in supporting a variety of equipment-heavy industrial customers across Manufacturing, MRO, Agriculture, Chemical, Mining, Oil / Gas / Refineries, Marine, Construction, and more.

THE JOB:

In this outside sales job, you will manage and grow an assigned industrial sales territory in the greater Seattle area. Starting out, you will take on 50-60 existing accounts to manage and grow. You will also focus on identifying and closing new customer relationships. The right person for this role will be a relationship-driven self-starter, with at least a couple years of industrial outside sales experience.


Majority of your time here will be spent in the field visiting customers face-to-face, learning their operations, understanding their product / service needs, and helping them solve practical industrial problems. On any day you would find yourself speaking to shop-level contacts, Purchasers, Managers, Maintenance Leaders, Operations Contacts, all the way to C-suite Executives / Business Owners.


There will be autonomy for you to strategically map out your territory week-to-week. The territory is local, so overnight travel is rare. There will be opportunities to travel to other locations for quarterly sales/team meetings.


THE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of quota-carrying outside sales experience with regular field activity
  • Industrial B2B sales experience is required
  • Strong prospecting habits and willingness to develop new business
  • Strong follow-up, organization, and customer service instincts
  • Must live in the Seattle, Washington area
  • Able to travel throughout the assigned territory as well as visit the local office for team collaboration
  • Valid driver’s license required
