This positon is responsible for operating, troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC equipment to maintain optimal IAQ conditions for the mission critical areas, such as Museum and Library spaces.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performs a variety of building maintenance and repair tasks. Complete projects requiring light carpentry, minor building repairs and assists with the upkeep of the buildings. Works with in-house technicians and carpentry contractors as a team when assigned

  • Performs a variety of building maintenance and repair tasks, including projects that require light painting, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Assists with the upkeep of buildings and performs preventative maintenance tasks, including changing air filters, tightening screws, greasing joints.
  • Performs general labor tasks such as replacing light bulbs, ceiling tile replacements, and other general building repairs.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all assigned tasks and work orders, including detailed task logs
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • An active Top Secret (or higher) security clearance
  • At least 5 years of building maintenance expereince
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and a commitment to safety policies, procedures, and practices
