Building Maintenance Technician
Location: San Francisco, CA 94111
Pay Rate: $30.00/hour

Job Duties & Responsibilities
* Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and general building components.
* Complete repairs to building finishes, including doors, ceilings, walls, flooring, painting, carpentry, and miscellaneous maintenance tasks.
* Monitor, inspect, and assist in maintaining building automation, fire/life safety systems, and overall facility operations.
* Respond to tenant service requests and emergency maintenance issues while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Required Skills & Experience
* High school diploma or GED and at least 4 years of commercial building maintenance experience.
* Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, painting, or electrical maintenance, including replacing HVAC filters, condensate pumps, and drain lines.
* Ability to use building management systems (BMS), smartphones, tablets, and Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work independently, respond to emergency calls, and participate in on-call or extended-hour assignments as needed.
Preferred Skills & Experience
* Technical or vocational training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, or related building trades.
