Job Description

Provide direct care and supervision in a supportive, therapeutic environment while documenting and reporting behaviors, occurrences, and conditions.  

Support and assist individuals with personal care, daily living skills, and self-help skills.

Supervise recreational activities & outings including transporting clients in the community.

We currently need staff who are able to work as Live In Staff or Support Counselors.   

Live-in staff are (work seven days on, take seven days off) needed to assist developmentally disabled adults.  Live-in staff report to work on a Wednesday and work/live in their clients' home until the following Wednesday. As a Live-in staff, you have your own room and it is not an awake-overnight position. Our clients live in typical neighborhood houses throughout the Vancouver area. Pay comes to $167.85 per day worked. Room and board are provided while on shift. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, 401(K) with match, cafeteria plan, and paid time off.
Part time and On-Call Support Counselors are needed to assist developmentally disabled adults who live in homes located in the Vancouver area. You could work as little as 5 hours or up to to 39 hours a week depending on your availability. Pay starts at $10.00 per hour.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and clean arrest record are required.  21 years of age is a plus!

Valid WA driver's license with good driving record and the ability to be insured by the agency insurer.

Effective communication, critical thinking, and problem solving skills needed.

Must have strong interpersonal skills and be a team player.

Experience is not necessary. We provide all training
