ABOUT YOU:

Whether you're managing administrative tasks, coordinating logistics, or supporting live events, you approach your work with accuracy, e?ciency, and a strong sense of responsibility.
You're energized by being both behind the scenes and on the ground during events. You enjoy helping plan, prepare, and execute gatherings that require coordination, flexibility, and clear communication. From managing details and documentation to supporting event logistics and responding to real-time needs, you adapt quickly and stay focused under pressure. You work well with diverse teams, communicate clearly, and contribute to an atmosphere of calm, order, and hospitality-helping ensure every event is well-organized, welcoming, and carried out with excellence.
This is a part-time position with varying hours. We will work with your schedule!

Athletes in Action is the sports ministry of Cru, and our mission is bold: to see Christ-followers on every team, in every sport, in every nation. Our 250-acre athletic complex hosts local, regional, and international event -including sports tournaments, summer camps, leadership gatherings, and banquets. Every event we host is an opportunity to serve well, create lasting memories, and impact lives for God's Kingdom.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Provide administrative support through data entry, correspondence, file organization, and guest or client follow-up
  • Assist with event coordination and on-site execution
  • Welcome and support guests and group directors throughout their visit
  • Complete event checklists and communicate with the SCRC team using established protocols
  • Help maintain a safe environment by observing and reporting safety or facility needs
  • Assist with food preparation and service as directed
  • Provide basic first aid support as needed
  • Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and a positive attitude while working variable hours, including evenings and weekends

Other Duties:
  • Personal development - engage in the Staff Development process including creating and implementing a Personal Development Plan (PDP) targeting areas of growth.
  • Demonstrate and model personal spiritual discipline and assist in development of an environment on the team where individual team members grow in their own Christian walks.
  • Administer CPR or AED as appropriate, ensuring emergency personnel and SCRC leadership are contacted as appropriate to the situation. Record all injuries per protocol.
  • Perform related duties or special projects as assigned
