Objective:

The responsibility of this position is primarily focused on overseeing the audio needs at the MidCities Campus.

Essential Job Functions:

Main Weekend Services:

  • Mix and oversee all audio aspect for the weekend services.
  • Help with troubleshooting and maintenance of audio equipment.
  • Run audio production needs for events (ministry and non-ministry) as needed or assigned. (Optional)

Technical Systems:

  • Ensure working audio equipment in a manner that fits the specific needs & culture of the service/event.
  • Responsible for keeping Production areas (Backstage, FOH, Production Storage Areas) clean and tidy.
  • Equipment upgrades and purchasing decisions go through the Production Director.
  • All other tasks, duties or projects as assigned by the Production Director.

  • Prompt response and resolution to constructive feedback from the Production Director
  • Good problem-solving skills, including ability to identify and avoid potential problems before they happen
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities calmly under pressure and to adjust, when needed, to the changes in priorities or conditions of the fast-paced production industry
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and cooperatively as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain constructive, positive relationships with co-workers
  • Professional attitude and appearance; positive spirit and enthusiasm
  • Be prepared to send recorded example of a live audio mix that you have done within the past 6 months if requested. Links to church live streams are acceptable.
