Introduction

Request for Proposal (RFP)

Graphic Designer for Say Yes Little Scholars Program. Introduction: Say Yes Buffalo is dedicated to supporting the youth of Buffalo through comprehensive, community-wide programs aimed at ensuring every student completes high school and achieves postsecondary success. One of our initiatives, the Say Yes Little Scholars program, is looking for a skilled and creative graphic designer to collaborate with us for the upcoming school year in the fall.

Purpose of RFP

This RFP invites qualified graphic designers to submit proposals to provide design services on a contractual basis. The selected designer will work closely with our team to create visually compelling materials that reflect the mission and values of Say Yes Little Scholars.

Scope of Work

The graphic designer will be responsible for the following tasks:

-Develop promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and posters

-Create digital assets for social media, website, and campaigns

-Design branded templates for presentations and reports

-Collaborate with the Say Yes Little Scholars team to ensure consistency with brand guidelines

-Produce both print-ready and digital files optimized for web and mobile sharing.

Proposal Requirements

Interested designers should include the following in their proposals:

1. Portfolio: Examples of previous work that demonstrate your design style and capability.

2. Experience: A description of your experience, particularly any work related to educational programs or non-profit organizations.

3. Pricing: A comprehensive pricing structure, including hourly rates and any additional costs.

4. References: Contact information for at least two clients who can speak to your previous work and professionalism.


Evaluation Criteria: Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

-Quality and creativity of portfolio

-Relevant experience and previous work with educational/non-profitorganizations

-Pricing and overall value

-References and client feedback

Contract Terms

The selected designer will enter into a contractual agreement with Say Yes Buffalo, outlining the terms of service, deliverables, and payment schedule. The initial contract period will be for 6 months, with potential for renewal based on performance and mutual agreement. If the selected designer fails to meet the requirements and expectations outlined in this contract, Say Yes Buffalo reserves the right to terminate the agreement at its discretion.

All information provided in this RFP and the proposals submitted will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of selecting a designer for the Say Yes Little Scholars program.
