Description
Director needed for an older adult center in Little Neck, Queens. This is a full-time, temporary position.
A community services organization is seeking an LMSW with 5+ years supervisory experience (LCSW a plus) to lead its 60+ adult center in Little Neck, Queens in a temporary role, anticipated to last 6-9 months (and with a possibility of becoming permanent). The role involves overseeing daily programming, a congregate lunch service, and a small staff, while ensuring compliance with NYC Aging (DFTA) standards. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 9-5, with occasional evenings/weekends for special events or Cooling Center activations.
Hourly temp rate will be determined based on the social worker's experience, when permanent, the salary is $72,500.
Position Requirements
LMSW, SIFI certification, experience with older adult populations, and 5+ years of experience post-masters are required.
