Job description

Kiddie Academy of Little Neck is seeking a Pre K Lead Teacher.

Our Teachers are responsible for general classroom management and supervision, which includes the personal care, hygiene, and positive discipline of the children. As a Lead Teacher, you will prepare and implement activities for children that stress physical, social, and emotional growth and provide materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate, and use, both in learning activities and in active play.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum completed Bachelorโ€™s degree in Early Childhood Education or currently enrolled in a Masterโ€™s program for Early Childhood Education
  • Previous 3K/PreK experience strongly preferred.
  • Must have good organization, communication and writing skills
  • Must be highly motivated and passionate about working with children
  • Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality
  • Highly professional and dependable
  • Must be able to interact appropriately with students of all ages and skill levels as well as with parents, coworkers, and management
  • Must be able to lift no less than 40 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the workday to at least waist high

COMPENSATION and BENEFITS

  • $50,000 to $68,652 per year (over 10 months)
