Job description

H.L Property Management, LLC is hiring a Full-Time Handyman/Porter with a driver's license for multi-unit residential buildings throughout Brooklyn.
Responsibilities

·         Perform minor repairs such as fixing leaky faucets, replacing broken lights, and repairing damaged doors.
·         Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and office staff.
·         Keep common areas clean, including hallways, lobbies, laundry rooms, and restrooms.
·         Remove litter from building interiors and surrounding grounds.
·         Sort recycling and ensure trash is placed out for scheduled pickup.
·         Conduct routine inspections of building systems, including plumbing, lighting, and HVAC, and address minor issues before they become major problems.
·         Assist with moving furniture, room setup for meetings or events, and general property arrangements.
·         Keep track of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies to ensure availability for repairs.
·         Perform light custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
·         Be available to respond to emergency maintenance issues after hours to help maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
·         Assist with basic renovations and repairs, including painting, replacing tiles, and installing or replacing fixtures.
·         Take before-and-after photos of repairs or maintenance work and upload documentation to AppFolio.
·         Perform grounds maintenance, including litter removal, snow and ice removal, and spreading salt during winter conditions.
