Job description

Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a nationally recognized litigation firm seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join its Nashville office. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation professional looking to work on complex, high-stakes commercial matters. This direct hire opportunity offers a hybrid schedule, a 35-hour work week, no billable hour requirement, and the opportunity to work alongside a highly regarded litigation team on complex matters from inception through trial, post-trial proceedings, and appeal.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with all phases of complex commercial litigation, from case inception through trial and appeal
  • Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, motions, affidavits, and other litigation-related documents
  • Manage document-intensive matters, including document review, organization, analysis, and production
  • Conduct legal and factual research utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, and other litigation resources
  • Coordinate trial and arbitration preparation, including exhibits, witness materials, and case files
  • Handle court filings, cite-checking, and maintenance of case records, databases, and document management systems
  • Provide overall case management support while collaborating closely with attorneys, clients, and litigation teams

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience as a Litigation Paralegal, ideally in complex commercial litigation
  • Proficiency with legal research, e-discovery, and litigation support technologies, including Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, Relativity, and document management systems
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and electronic court filing systems
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred
