About Us

Astor Simovitch Law is a growing, mission-driven civil litigation firm that helps families navigate the legal system to get their loved ones into treatment for substance abuse and mental health disorders. Our work is high-impact and life-changing, and we are looking for a compassionate and highly organized Paralegal to join our remote team.

What You'll Do

As a key team member, you will:

  • Serve as a main point of contact for clients, experts, and professionals.
  • Track deadlines and manage case timelines using digital tools.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, legal forms, reports, letters, and indexes.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings and managing caseloads.
  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings.
  • Maintain accurate digital records using Clio and other legal tech platforms.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of law firm experience , including at least 2 years in civil litigation.
  • Strong working knowledge of Florida courts and e-filing.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, Zoom, and Clio (Grow + Manage).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
