About the Position
The firm is seeking a senior attorney for its Litigation practice group in the Dallas office. The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years of litigation experience and the ability to independently handle complex litigation assignments, including drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other substantive materials with appropriate partner oversight. This role is well suited for someone who wants meaningful responsibility, sophisticated litigation work, and the chance to contribute directly to the growth of a developing Dallas office.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently manage complex litigation assignments with partner oversight
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other substantive litigation materials
Analyze complex facts and legal issues and prepare high-quality written work product
Communicate directly with clients and colleagues
Argue matters when needed
Take ownership of significant work, exercise sound judgment, and manage deadlines independently
Contribute to a highly collaborative team environment and the continued growth of the Dallas office
Qualifications:
7+ years of litigation experience
Strong writing and research skills, with excellent academic credentials
Experience in commercial, financial services, banking, real estate, bankruptcy-related, or other complex business disputes preferred but not required
Sound professional judgment, responsiveness, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
