Litigation Paralegal

Location: Atlanta, GA 

Hybrid: Onsite four days/ remote one day 

Position Overview

Tucker Ellis LLP is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our Atlanta, Georgia office. This position will support attorneys in all phases of litigation, from case inception through resolution, including arbitration and administrative proceedings. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on litigation experience, exceptional organizational and technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

This role may require travel for in-person attendance at hearings, mediations, and trials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive litigation support throughout the case lifecycle, including investigation, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, arbitration, and settlement.
  • Draft form pleadings, answers ,outgoing discovery requests ,discovery responses ,correspondence, cover letters, form motions, proposed orders, and form settlement agreements.
  • Finalize court filings, ensuring accurate citations; verifying compliance with local rules ;preparing tables of contents and authorities; converting documents to appropriate format(s)for submission; and preparing exhibits or supporting materials.
  • Research local, state, federal, and administrative court rules to verify compliance with procedural and formatting requirements.
  • Handle electronic filing and service of pleadings and other documents in state and federal courts.
  • Manage attorney registrations and e-filing setup for arbitration proceedings (including AAA and JAMS) and administrative matters such as EEOC charges.
  • Coordinate document productions, including managing electronically stored information (ESI) and preparing materials for disclosure/production.
  • Prepare exhibits for motions, hearings, depositions, and trial by labeling, combining, organizing, and redacting confidential information as necessary.
  • Prepare pro hac vice motions and applications for out-of-state counsel.
  • Draft medical and case chronologies as needed; summarize depositions, discovery responses, and business or medical records.
  • Correspond with courts and clerks to coordinate hearing and motion dates.
  • Assist attorneys with arbitration, mediation, and trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness materials, and hearing binders.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of all litigation tasks.
  • Assist with propounding third-party discovery and subpoenas, and manage the collection and organization of third-party documents:
  • Maintaining master case lists and tracking new and existing matters
  • Monitoring and verifying applicable deadlines
  • Handling intake and organization of case-related documents and information
  • Bates labeling, and watermarking documents for production
