§ Duties:

The incoming Senior Associate will serve as a primary advocate in a variety of complex commercial matters, navigating the intricacies of high-value disputes within both New York State and Federal jurisdictions. This role demands a practitioner capable of managing the full lifecycle of litigation, serving a sophisticated client base that includes institutional investors, real estate developers, and corporate entities.


Core responsibilities include:

⨖ Formulating and implementing comprehensive litigation strategies for multi-million dollar commercial conflicts.

⨖ Drafting and overseeing the preparation of initial pleadings, comprehensive discovery requests, and responses.

⨖ Managing the electronic discovery process and coordinating large-scale document productions.

⨖ Drafting and arguing dispositive motions, including motions to dismiss and summary judgment petitions, before state and federal benches.

⨖ Orchestrating and executing the deposition of key fact witnesses and technical experts.

⨖ Providing nuanced legal research and risk analysis to guide clients through pre-litigation and alternative dispute resolution phases.


§ Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following baseline professional criteria:

⨖ Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school accompanied by a record of high academic achievement.

⨖ Active admission and good standing with the New York State Bar.

⨖ Five (5) to Seven (7) years of substantive experience in general commercial litigation within a reputable firm environment.
